Terms of Service & Legal Notice

By visiting our site and/or purchasing products from Build Guild, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including all additional policies referenced herein.

1. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland (QLD), Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

2. Accuracy of Site Information & Trademark Notice

We endeavor to present accurate product descriptions, bushing bore tolerances, panel thickness specifications, and pricing. Independent Joinery Tool Brand Notice: Build Guild is an independent designer and supplier of precision cabinetry jigs, drill guides, and woodworking fixtures. Build Guild is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Kreg Tool Company, Dowelmax, Jessem Tool Company, Milescraft, Rockler, or Festool. Any comparative references are made strictly for functional specification, hole diameter standards (e.g., standard 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm metric dowel doweling formats), and technical joinery clarity. Build Guild reserves the right to correct any inadvertent inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.

3. Woodworking Machinery Safety, Clamping Force & Eye Protection Warning

Power Tool Operation Safety Advisory: Always wear certified Australian standard safety glasses (AS/NZS 1337) and hearing protection when operating electric drills, trim routers, or joinery machinery. Always clamp workpieces and jigs securely to stable benches before boring holes; never hold jigs by hand against spinning bits. Bushing Friction Notice: Ensure drill bits are inserted straight into hardened steel guide bushings before engaging tool power. Forcing tilted drill bits into guide sleeves can damage cutting flutes and create high-velocity metal burrs. Build Guild is not liable for timber misdrills, cabinet face damage, dull drill bits resulting from improper angles, or personal workshop injuries resulting from careless tool operation.
